Review Summary: Apple had some catching up to do as far as movie downloads were concerned and its done a great job of that in the recent past. Their iTunes software is the leader in music entertainment and has become synonymous with music downloading due to the popularity of their ipod mp3 players. Now, with increasing storage capacity on their portable players iTunes has entered the arena of movie downloads and rentals.

Cons: Limited support for other mp3 players or devices, No streaming

iTunes is a great download service that satisfies most of your entertainment download needs. If you’re looking for decent selection of movies, new music videos and TV shows, than iTunes provides legal downloads at an affordable price. iTunes with its recent foray into the movie rental business is giving the other movie download sites a real run for their money.

Extensive iPod Support: It should come as no surprise that iTunes is the easiest to integrate with ipod mp3 devices. Movies can be synced with upto 5 devices.
Fast Downloads: Most of our downloads on a 400Kbs connection took less than 15 minutes to complete.
Dislikes:
No Streaming: You cant begin watching till some of it has been downloaded. No streaming options available.
Non-ipod device support: As expected, if you dont use an ipod as your primary portable player you would have to figure out how to sync movies or rentals. There is no easy way to do this.
Bottom Line:
If you are looking for ease of integration with your ipod at great download speeds then iTunes is your best bet.
